Wearing Dignity and Restoring Hope
While many clothing banks accept outerwear (jackets…) and overwear (clothes), most do not accept undergarments.
Yet the need of undergarments for the homeless and economically challenged still exists.
To meet this need, Hope Community Church is hosting “Undie Sunday” to collect new, preferably still in the package, pairs of undergarments to pass on to shelters and clothing banks.
Boxers, briefs, diapers, bras, ‘long johns’, socks, undershirts and the like, of all sizes, for males and females will all be gladly accepted.
ITEMS MUST BE NEW AND PREFERABLY STILL IN THEIR PACKAGING.
Bring your donations on Undie Sunday-
January 29 9:30-11:30am
to Hope Community Church meeting at Stephen Lewis Secondary School (in the Applewood gym) (3675 Thomas Street, Mississauga)
For more information, please call Hope Community Church at 905-330-3920
*p.s. We’ll also gladly accept all gently used clothing, outerwear, footwear and non perishable foodbank items!!
